Mug Shots: A Coffee Mug Dessert Cookbook

Dessert for one, in about five minutes, with no cake in the fridge calling your name tomorrow. A mug dessert is exactly what it sounds like: a single serving of cake, brownie, cobbler, or cheesecake mixed right in a coffee mug and cooked in the microwave in about a minute. Mug Shots is Dr. Christopher D. Pritchard, D.D.'s collection of 50 of them — chocolate cakes rich enough to end an argument, cobblers that taste like Grandma is still in the kitchen, silky little cheesecakes, and holiday mugs for any month of the year.

No oven to preheat, no sink full of dishes, no special equipment and no experience required — just a mug, a microwave, and a spoon. Each recipe was tested and tweaked until it came out moist and right, every single time. It is portion control that does not feel like punishment, because it tastes like a real dessert — because it is one.
