Original Mind Disconnect

Original is the satirical, subversive yet entertaining tale about Jericho Streeter, sports agent extraordinaire to some of the best ballers in the league. Life is good, damn good matter of fact when one day he is visited by the spirit of an old woman whom he later discovers is his third great grandmother named Sudie. Her reason for making her presence known?....she wants him to join the fight for reparations. He resists and they go back and forth until she uses her gift to transport him back in time to witness firsthand the horrors of slavery. From there Jericho finds himself wrestling with his feelings about his lineage and ancestry while also battling his archrival, Zack Mandel, also an agent. The two of them are fierce rivals, always trying to best each other...and it looks like Zack has managed to pull the ultimate fast one: he has come into some info that he stole that could ruin Jericho seriously. A battle of wills ensues, and ultimately Original Mind Disconnect is a cautionary tale that walks a fine between being careful of what you wish for and glorifying a certain lifestyle.
