When Light loved the dark

WHEN LIGHT LOVED THE DARK
By J.B Bautista

He was born to destroy the darkness. She was destined to become it. But what happens when the heart chooses what fate forbids?

Long ago, the Hero of Dawn and the Goddess of Darkness met on a battlefield, where their destinies demanded that one destroy the other. Their story ended in blood, sacrifice, and a promise whispered between dying souls.

Centuries later, they are reborn.

He is once again the chosen Hero, blessed by the gods and raised to become their greatest weapon. She is a gentle healer, beloved by the people, unaware of the ancient darkness sleeping within her.

When fate brings them together, neither recognizes the other at first. Yet their hearts remember what their minds have forgotten.

Against prophecy, divine judgment, and the weight of countless lifetimes, they choose an ordinary life together. A home beside a silver lake. A love untouched by crowns or legends. A future they dare to dream of.

But the gods have not forgotten their first ending.

As memories awaken and ancient powers return, the two must face the cruel truth behind their existence: they were never meant to be together.

Can love rewrite a destiny written by the gods?

Or are some stories doomed to repeat themselves?

Because sometimes, the greatest act of rebellion is simply choosing to love.
