In this short horror story written over the course of multiple shifts at a County Jail, Riley finds herself stalked every night by an unknown being who has taken a liking to her - Events others claim is simply a classic trauma hallucination. While her narcissistic mother pushes her closer and closer to a psychiatric facility to treat the obvious psychosis, Riley is slowly broken by the growing strength of this shadow's hold over her. As the countdown of nights progress, her sanity depletes and the unorthodox twist of a new age haunting becomes unraveled. A new imagining and original take of a spooky story to tell in the dark that blends thematic elements that, unfortunately, are very real.
