Beyond The Surface

Beyond the Surface

Poems of Love and Life

By A. K. Evers

We often experience more than we can express, feel more than we can understand, and think more than we care to acknowledge.
Beyond the Surface is a collection of poems that explores the many dimensions of love, life, human behaviour and the emotions that often remain unspoken.
Through reflections on love, longing, loneliness, relationships, beauty, darkness, dreams and the complexities of being human, these poems attempt to look beyond what is visible and explore what lies beneath.
Some poems question what we believe about love. Others examine the contradictions within human nature, the quiet struggles of existence and the experiences that shape who we become.
This is not merely a collection about love or life. It is an attempt to observe, question and understand them.
Perhaps, somewhere between these verses, you will encounter something familiar a feeling you once had, a thought you never expressed, or a part of yourself you never quite understood.
Because sometimes, the things that matter most are the things we fail to see.
Look beyond the surface.
