Reiji’s search for a legendary dragon takes him far from his friends, and things go wrong fast. In Dragon Drive, Vol. 6, “Hope,” he is mistaken for a bandit and thrown in jail. Help comes from Koryu, a soldier who has seen enough of how his squad captain really operates. Together they take on the captain and his huge dragon in a battle to protect a village that has been living in fear. With Chibi’s growing power, Reiji’s stubborn courage, and a new ally at his side, this volume has high-stakes dragon duels and the lesson that even the weakest can find hope when it counts. It’s an action-packed fantasy adventure for fans of dragons and underdog heroes.
