The Smiling House

When a young tenant moves into a new apartment in Pasig, the bathroom mirror seems strangely low. Behind it, he discovers an older mirror, one that reflects things that should be impossible.

Each night, the mirror reveals something more disturbing: a sleeping version of himself, an unseen presence counting his teeth, and the voices of something trapped behind the glass. But on the fourth night, the mirror shows a crowded apartment filled with the faces of those who lived there before.

All of them are smiling.

And one final face is still waiting to be worn.
