Ricky “San” Saunders is a 15 year oldBlack/Mexican kid Lance’s best friend sarcastic, steady, hungry, and always ready with a joke. He lives behind his 35 MM camera. He’s the kind of friend who sees everything, says what he thinks, and keeps the people he cares about grounded. San carries more weight than he lets on, but he handles life with humor and heart. He’s loyal, sharp, and the first person Lance calls when anything happens.
Lloyd Berg is a fourteen year old quiet mechanical genius of the group Raised by Silent Generstion grandparents. Hes a completely different generation inside a millennial teenager. He can rebuild a vintage Vespa, fix a camcorder, and explain how an engine works without breaking eye contact. He’s literal, awkward, unexpectedly funny, and always prepared. Lloyd doesn’t try to be cool; he just is. He becomes part of the group almost by accident, but once he’s there, he fits like a missing puzzle piece.
Samantha ‘Sam’ Murphy is a 16 year old Native American pink‑haired spitfire who believes in her friends. She’s curious, observant, and has a way of showing up exactly when the story needs her. Sam brings warmth, humor, and a new dynamic that shifts the group’s energy. She’s not a manic pixie dream girl — she’s a real teenager with her own life, her own questions, and her own spark.
lemonade has one antagonist. Bitterness. Lemons are part of everyday decisions. Lemonade is sour water unless you know how to bring your own sugar.
