    Loved One,
We finally have a space to connect!! Hi, I'm Indigo Lanee, the Cincinnati-native host of ItzDaVybez Radio, podcast planner & journal maker, and short-story world weaver. You being here lets me know the world isn't so big that people like us can't connect.

Here you'll find my short stories, and in the future, novels. Share my journey, let's have fun with polls, quizzes, events, and contests as the stories unfold.

Thank you for joining me by following @indigolanee & @itzdavybez_radio on IG, and commenting "Crew" on the "Midnight Atlas Crew Member" Instagram post.

    See you there!

    Much Love,

    My goal and dream

    My goal and dream

Hi there to all my future readers. I have been writing for a few years now, but I started to write seriously with a view to self publish in late 2024. My first novel, 'Mystery of Wicker Wood' was published early the following year. All of my books have a link to my own life, for example my most recent novel, 'Rogue Bullet,' is based on my own military experience in the British Army.
The Broughty Souls features a hotel that I stayed in as a boy whilst on vacation to Scotland. The hotel was the most creepy place I had ever stayed in.
Please visit my author webpage to explore all options and please if you do leave a donation, I will put that money towards a much required replacement laptop.
Enjoy my stories and many thanks to you,

    Kirk

    Happy Independence Day

    Happy Independence Day

    Happy 250th Birthday, America. 🇺🇸

Two hundred fifty years is a long time.
We've had incredible moments and heartbreaking ones. We've disagreed, made mistakes, solved problems, invented things, overcome challenges, and somehow kept moving forward.

I know things aren't perfect. They never have been.

Today, I'm choosing to remember the people who built this country, defended it, improved it, and refused to give up on it.

Here's to remembering where we've been, believing the American story has always been one of getting back up, and knowing there's still plenty worth fighting for and plenty worth celebrating.

    Happy Independence Day. ❤️🤍💙

    The Burnout Protocol: A Doctor's Write-Off

    The Burnout Protocol: A Doctor's Write-Off

The system doesn't shoot you in the back. It changes the air, thinning it until there is nothing left to breathe.
This is the anatomy of how medicine methodically grinds its own people down. Not with a single shot, but by degrees. Quietly scrapping those who still try to heal instead of just filing paperwork. No official wording. No explanation. No farewell.
An unflinching manifesto for anyone who hasn't forgotten that a doctor is not just a rubber stamp in a medical chart, but the last line of defense between a living human being and dead statistics.
