Hello! I'm D.A. Murphy, the author of a new young adult series - Sam's World. So far, I have released the first two books on Amazon Kindle.
Sam's World: Meet Samantha "Sam" Davis - new town, new school, and a whole new set of rules. When her family moves from free-spirited San Francisco to polished San Diego, Sam has no idea what's coming. Middle school means navigating crushes, cliques, and cutthroat dance tryouts - all while trying to fit in without losing her sense of self. Can she find her tribe, outsmart her rival, and maybe even steal the spotlight?
Sam's World: Volume 2: Sam's back and ready to take on seventh grade. With her family and friends by her side, Sam experiences all the ups and downs that come with growing up - her second year on the dance team, a crush on Austin Hart, and an ongoing rivalry with Bridget Sanders. As she hits major milestones like turning thirteen, getting braces, and seeing both her parents in action at their jobs, Sam begins to feel the excitement of growing older. But seventh grade isn't all dances and daydreams. She also faces serious challenges, including relentless bullying from a classmate, unwanted attention from eighth-grade boys, and the stress of dealing with the worst teacher imaginable. Through heartbreak, humor, and hard lessons, Sam must figure out who she is and how to stand up for herself. Can she survive seventh grade - and come out stronger on the other side?
Stay tuned for Sam's World: Volume 3 to be released in summer 2027.
