The Quiet Joy of a Sunday Letter

Let your light bloom wherever you are.

I’ve always loved receiving and writing letters. These days, though, a handwritten letter can be hard to come by in our fast-paced, digital world. There’s something peaceful about slowing down, putting pen to paper, and letting your thoughts unfold.
I recently stumbled upon the Sunday Letter Project, and it gives the written word even more depth, meaning, and purpose. I hope it inspires more people to pick up a pen — and brings joy to everyone lucky enough to receive their words.

Backstory:

🌺 The Sunday Letter Project began after Rebecca and Karl Maguire, who run Wildflower Illustration Co. in Cheltenham, noticed many customers lamenting that “no one writes letters anymore.” After opening their stationery shop in 2023, they decided to do something about it: they launched the project in September 2025 as an invitation to write one handwritten letter every Sunday, helping people slow down and reconnect through a shared practice.
