Welcome to my corner of Written. 💛

We are Pastor William Welker and Pastor Katie Welker — co-pastors and authors at Faith Wave Ministry Network in Wiggins, Mississippi. We write devotionals, prayer guides, and testimonies for women who feel unseen — because I have been that woman, and I know the God who sees.

My book, "The Girl in the Mirror Who Has Lost All Hope in Herself," is my true testimony — 50 chapters, each ending with a word for you, a Scripture, and a prayer. It's here on Written now.

Thank you for stopping by. You are seen, you are heard, and you are loved.

On October 23, 1920, Italian children's author Gianni Rodari was born.
Rodari became famous for his playful stories, unusual characters, and wonderfully imaginative approach to children's literature.
He believed in encouraging children to think creatively, ask questions, and explore impossible ideas through storytelling.
His work continues to inspire writers, teachers, and young readers around the world.
And today, we're going to try a little imagination experiment of our own!
🌟 FINISH THIS STORY IDEA:
"One morning, everyone in town woke up to discover that..."
What happens next?
Maybe all the books in the library have come to life.
Perhaps animals can suddenly talk.
Or maybe something completely unexpected has happened!
There are no wrong answers.
Let's see how imaginative our book-loving community can be!
