Distance Never Made You a Stranger

Distance never made you a stranger,
Nor did time make you matter less,
Life may change the roads we wander,
But not the warmth that hearts possess.

Perhaps, somewhere beneath the silence,
Beyond the days we spend apart,
There still lives a little spark,
A familiar warmth within the heart.

For if the bond was ever true,
And the affection still remains,
A little spark still flickers through,
Untouched by miles, unmoved by change.

Because you see,
Distance may have changed where you are in my life,
But it has never made you a stranger to my heart.
