For months, Julian has lived a nightmare trapped inside his decaying ancestral home. Every night, as the house plunges into pitch blackness, the walls come alive. A wet, rhythmic scratching echoes from the crawlspaces, the sound of something heavy, malformed, and starving, dragging itself through the timber. It whispers his name in a voice like wet gravel, tearing at the drywall with splintered claws.
The air tastes of copper and rot. The shadows move with terrifying intent. Convinced that a predatory, inhuman entity is hunting him from the dark, Julian arms himself with a heavy iron meat cleaver, vowing to hunt the monster down before it rips him apart piece by piece.…
