Who Is Thinking for You?
Every day, we hand over small decisions to systems we barely understand.
They recommend what we read, influence what we believe, and increasingly help us formulate our own thoughts.
Artificial intelligence can expand human potential. But what happens when convenience begins to replace independent judgment?
I'm currently working on La mente que delegamos (The Mind We Delegate), a thought-provoking essay exploring cognitive autonomy, psychological influence, and the invisible boundaries between human intelligence and artificial intelligence.
This is not a warning against technology. It is an invitation to question something far more personal: how much of our thinking are we willing to surrender in exchange for convenience?
Perhaps the greatest challenge of the AI era is not teaching machines to think.
It is ensuring that humans never lose the desire to question.
What is one decision you would never delegate to artificial intelligence?
