This is the first book and depending on how it goes I might make a second one that's even better. I moved 800 miles away from home when I graduated high school and I am just trying to make it in the world. I wrote this book because I can't find any like it and I wanted to share this new idea.
OBEX is a zombie thriller, but the outbreak isn't the usual made up virus, it's built around real virology (the title is literally named after the part of the brainstem where rabies concentrates). It follows an ex-military immunologist racing to find a cure before it tears apart a small Ohio city. If you're tired of the same zombie tropes and want something that feels grounded, I think you'll like it.
